Dan is a specialist housing market research and data visualisation analyst. Widely recognised as an innovator in the analysis of the sales and rental markets in Scotland and UK. He provides bespoke research and commentary for a wide range of clients including property agents, developers and investors – and he is passionate about using the latest web based mapping and visualisation tools to share data and facilitate better understanding of our cities and communities.
In 2015/16 he was a spokesman for and founder of PRS4Scotland PRS.SCOT which helped inform the debate on PRS in Scotland. Dan now runs the site as a showcase for interesting market stats and analysis. During 2017 he is advising Homes for Scotland on their data / information strategy.
Previous career experience includes Directorships of several innovative information businesses.
SeeIT Ltd. an information consultancy providing GIS (geographic info systems), a founding Director of MyHousePrice.Com Ltd and he headed up Telesis, the consultancy arm of Scottish Homes. Prior to Scottish Homes Dan was an independent Business Research Consultant, and was with KPMG Management Consulting.
