David is a specialist in leadership development and cultural change. As an organisational psychologist, David leads CM-Talem’s work around the social aspects of organisational design, improvement and change. He has twenty years’ experience of operating within organisational design and human capital advisory and specialises in generating improvement through developing productive leadership and relationships that are underpinned by well-designed systems, processes and structure.
He has worked within local government, housing, NDPBs, higher education and transportation in Scotland, England and Australia. He also has a strong background in working with private sector clients designing and delivering improvement programmes. His recent work within the infrastructure and energy markets has been centred around supporting company growth and the development of new markets.
David is Director at CM-Talem with Derek Stewart and Brian Pilmott. CM-Talem work with clients across the public, private and voluntary sectors. It helps in Organisational transformation; leadership development and cultural change; business reviews and strategic asset reviews to drive improvement, alternative delivery models to identify and assess options and establish appropriate entities for managing and delivering services; commercial planning to enhance the forward commercial viability of current activity; and supply chain management – maximising value for money through contractual arrangements and supporting local businesses as part of wider service delivery.
