Lyn is an expert in housing, health and social care consultancy. She has over 20 years’ experience in the housing sector in strategic and senior management roles. She is a graduate of both Robert Gordon University and the University of Stirling and a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner.
Prior to setting up as an independent consultant, Lyn was employed by the CIH in Scotland as the Policy and Practice Officer, carrying out research, representing the profession at a national level and managing projects across a number of areas, including homelessness, health & social care and planning.
Most recently Lyn has brought her housing and management expertise to a health and social care environment. As part of the reshaping care agenda, she managed the closure of a residential care home and the building of a new extra care housing facility and is currently working with Midlothian Integrated Joint Board to reprovision a hospital ward to deliver a post-acute rehabilitation ward for older people closer to home.
