Nick Hopkins is a specialist in anti poverty, financial inclusion and welfare reform mitigation. He celebrates this year 20 years working as researcher, lecturer and practitioner in the housing and public policy field, and 10 years as an independent consultant. Nick is a graduate of the Universities of Oxford (BA in Philosophy, Politics, Economics) and Glasgow (MPhil Urban Policy). Nick is the author of three editions of the SFHA’s guide to welfare reform mitigation based on literature review, analysis of financial inclusion trends and extensive interviews with housing management and financial inclusion practitioners. He has established a regularly delivered training course for the CIH on tenancy sustainment. Nick has extensive experience in qualitative and quantitative research, evaluations and project design in relation to financial inclusion and welfare reform mitigation.
