Raminta Kazlauskaite

Raminta has a broad range of data analysis and client facing skills picked up from her time at the University of Edinburgh, University of Glasgow, and her time working with IHG. She graduated with a BSc in Cell Biology in 2017, during which she had the chance to work on a bioengineering project aiming to study the conversion of bio-oils into useful products using different microorganisms, along with a summer internship in a DNA sequencing department.

She is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Glasgow, where the goal is building an artificial salmon gut system, called SalmoSim, made of three linked bioreactors simulating three distinct compartments of the salmon gut. The analytical and statistical element of the project, as well all the collaboration with industrial partners have let her to her current interests in consulting and finance, with a keen interest to gain as much experience as she can during her studies, before moving into a consulting role full time in the future.
