Scottish Government appoints Indigo House to research the impacts of short-term lets on communities in Scotland
Short-term lets have recently been in focus in some parts of Scotland and the Scottish Government is currently consulting on a regulatory framework for the sector. To inform this, the Scottish Government has commissioned Indigo House to undertake a research project which will explore the impacts of short-term lets –positive and negative – on communities, with a focus on neighbourhoods and housing. It will involve short-term lets hosts, residents, local businesses and community actors across 5 locations in Scotland. The final research report will be published at the Scottish Government website later this year.
