Kirsty has expertise in strategic development, business improvement and innovation, business development and performance and change management. Kirsty’s main aim is to improve the quality of life for customers and to significantly improve customer outcomes. After worked in housing and community safety for 20 years, both in RSL’s and a Local Authority, Kirsty set up her own consultancy business.
Significant achievements in Kirsty’s career including developing an innovative retirement accommodation as part of a large scale regeneration project, leading on a multi-agency partnership to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for customers in the regeneration area, and delivering lasting improvements for those customers. As part of this project, she was part of a team who won a SURF award for Creative Regeneration. She also led on the development of a Short-Term Letting Policy for Party Flats, which resulted in the first Management Control Order granted in Scotland. She also led on the development of a Service Level Agreement and associated KPI’s with Police Scotland, for the delivery of community policing.
Laterally, Kirsty has been commissioned to redesign service delivery and substantially improved performance in an RSL, and to improve culture and employee engagement. She was also the lead for the proposed Transfer of Engagements.
Kirsty has an undergraduate degree in English and a Post Graduate Diploma in Housing Studies. She is also a member of the CIH.
